Pastor Elect-Lady Michelle Roberts is one of 4 children born between Mechelle Jones and the
late Mac Madric in 1969. She is the leading lady of El Beth El Community Cathedral in
Palmyra, NJ. She serves in ministry as Pastor- beside her husband, Bishop Joseph N. Roberts,
Jr., Sr-Pastor. Elect-Lady Roberts is a true evangelist and teacher of the word of God. Pastor
Michelle dedicated over 20 years to the field of nursing, earning recognition in National
Nursing Magazine for her exceptional work in long-term rehabilitation care. With a true
anointing to heal the sick and uplift the broken-hearted, her ministry and vocation were deeply
intertwined. She continued in nursing until stepping away due to medical reasons. She’s an
author, an awesome cook, organizer and servant. Her encouraging down-to-earth teaching
imparts wisdom and instruction from the Word of God to all that hear. Elect-Lady Michelle is
the overseer of the Pastor's Aides, Women’s Ministry, Head of the Adminstrative Board and
Board of Trustees. She is dedicated to both family and ministry. She and Bishop Roberts have
six children and five "daughters-in-love" — Pastor James (Pastor Carleen), Brother Bobby
(Sister Shontae), Min. Joseph (DIT. Lakia), Sister Chantelle, Pastor Nathaniel (Minister
Sadayah), and Brother Joel (Sister Gabriella). God-Children, Elder Ashle Carpenter, Min.
Christina Morgan, Elder KaNeesha Carter, Josiah Carpenter, Zipporah Carpenter, Caleb
Carpenter, and Elkana Hidalgo. She draws inspiration and guidance from great life
influencers, Mother’s Apostle Rebecca Hayes and Pastor Patrica Lester.
She is lovingly supported by her God-Parents, Pastor Elaine and
Charles Gwynn — pillars of wisdom and grace.
Together, they cherish the joy of seven amazing grandchildren.
Her compassion, care, and love are just a few things that allow her to
affectionately be called “mom” by so many. Her heart shines through all
that she does. Her smile and laughter are infectious! Her resilience and
strength are true reflections of her walk with God, and His hand and
grace over her life. We are truly blessed to have her, know her, love her,
and honor her.
