Joseph Nathaniel Roberts Jr. is the fifth child of the late Joseph N. Roberts Sr. and Lucy S. Roberts of Camden, New Jersey. He is the husband of Michelle Roberts and the parent of four children: Joseph III, Chantelle, Nathaniel and Joel.
Joseph Roberts accepted the Lord as His personal savior and received salvation at a very young age at The Camden Miracle Center under the leadership of the late Rev. Allen Byrd. At the age of twelve “Bro. Pop” as he was fondly known as become a member at The Sanctuary Church of the Abiding Presence, under the leadership of his spiritual mother Pastor Evelyn Schonyers was a devoted member for over 25 years. He was ordained in 1993 by Bishop Schonyers. Elder Roberts also spent three years under the leadership and guidance of his spiritual father Apostle Bruce C. Lester, Sr., Senior Pastor of Voice of Hope Deliverance Church, Inc. On July 6, 2006, Elder Joseph Roberts became the Senior Pastor of Holy Spirit Cathedral Church, Inc. with co-laborer Apostle Shirley Williams.
Elder Joseph Roberts has been preaching the indisputable, infallible gospel for over twenty years. He preaches a prophetic message of faith, deliverance and healing to the body of Christ. He has preached all over the world including Africa, Australia, Puerto Rico, Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Asia.
Elder Roberts has been greatly influenced by other fathers in the gospel which include: Apostle Joseph C. Scott Jr., Chief Overseer of the Outreach Covenant Fellowship Inc. and Senior Pastor of (St. James Apostolic Temple).
